About Gaby Studer

Gaby Studer transforms paper into three-dimensional artworks filled with lightness, light, and depth. Her work merges the delicate, traditional craft of papercutting with a contemporary, organic design language. Through high-precision cuts and a subtle interplay of light and shadow, she creates unique pieces that constantly evolve with the changing light of the room.

"To me, paper is not just a passive surface, but a living medium. I am fascinated by the moment when every cut doesn't just remove material, but creates space—for light, shadow, and emotion."

— Gaby Studer

Today, the Swiss artist lives and works between the Algarve, Portugal, and Switzerland.
